Using propaganda harvested directly from the streets of Rome, this exhibition looks critically at the visual and spatial strategies used by Italy’s neo-fascists to further their aims in the public square. Underscoring how design, history, and selective memory embolden far-right populism, this exhibition challenges the viewer to identify and combat authoritarian messages in everyday spaces and supports visual literacy in our civic discourse.

New course! The Library launches health informatics course with certification
The Fresno State Library is excited to announce a new addition to its offerings for students and faculty—Health Information Access and Management (PH152T), a health informatics course that grants students the recognized Consumer Health Information Specialization (CHIS) certification, certified by the Medical Library Association (MLA), upon completion. Led by health sciences librarian Shuyi Liu, this course makes Fresno State the first and only institution in California to offer this certification, setting a milestone for health information education in the Central Valley.
For those in health sciences, public health, nursing, social work, or information science, this course offers a unique opportunity to gain professional certification in the CHIS competency areas. The Fresno State Library invites interested students and faculty members to contact Shuyi Liu to learn more about this exciting new program and how it can benefit their academic and career paths. This new course will be offered in Spring 2025.
