The Hmongstory Legacy: 50th Celebration exhibit at the library honors the 50th anniversary of Southeast Asian refugees’ arrival in the United States in 1975, with a special focus on the Hmong community. Marking this milestone in 2025, the exhibit reflects on five decades of resilience, cultural preservation, and community building. Through powerful photographs, artifacts, and personal narratives, visitors will explore the journey of the Hmong and other Southeast Asian groups from their war-torn homelands to new beginnings in America. This celebration showcases their enduring heritage and the invaluable contributions they’ve made to the American cultural landscape.
