A former history instructor at Fresno City College, political commentator on the local news, stalwart figure in his church, Oski the Bear mascot for UC Berkeley, announcer for City College basketball games, mentor to thousands of former students, and world traveler, Don lived life to the brim

A towering figure in the World’s Fair community, Don’s legacy lives on in the world-renowned Donald G. Larson World’s Fairs and International Expositions collection housed in our Special Collections. The SCRC is planning a foyer exhibit of this collection in Don’s honor for the fall semester.
