Beginning August 9, 2021, all public spaces in the Henry Madden Library will be open to students, faculty/staff, and the community. The stacks will be available for browsing and circulation is fully operational for check-outs and account inquiries. Self-checkout is also still available.

Madden Library hours from August 9 to August 20 will be Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Face coverings are required for all visitors inside the library, per Fresno State policy.

Food and beverages (water bottles excepted) are limited to the second floor Starbucks area, which is set up for social distancing. Starbucks is scheduled to open soon, but Fresno State Dining Services has yet to announce a date.

Tech Lending and Access Services are fully operational. Tech Lending items can be requested through our website and picked up in the building, or inquiries can be made at the desk. We have a large number of new devices for students this fall, including high-performance laptops.

Our Paging Service will remain in operation throughout the academic year. Students, faculty, and staff can request materials from our collections through the OneSearch feature, and will be notified by email when items are ready to pick up. Learn how to request books and media through our paging service.

Fall semester hours begin on August 23, when all of our service points will return to regular operations throughout the library.
