In 2019, our Research Services unit launched its digital badging program for Library Tutorials. As part of an initiative to give students a flexible way to learn how to find, use, and evaluate resources for their research, the program has proven to be an under-the-radar success.

According to librarian David Drexler, in fall 2024, the Library awarded 3357 badges for completed tutorials, and 1768 different students completed at least one tutorial. The tutorials on plagiarism continue to be the most popular.
