REGISTER: Zines for the People

The Fresno State Library Diversity Committee is excited to host Zines for the People. This free event will include a presentation on the history of zines and their connection to marginalized people and will be followed by a zine workshop led by a local artist, business owner, and founder of Fresno Zine Fest, Priscilla Van Rye.

What are zines? Zines (pronounced like ‘zeen’) are small-circulation self-published works of original or appropriated texts and images, usually reproduced via a copy machine.

Grab bags will be provided for attendees of the event (while supplies last) and students who attend will be entered in two raffle drawings to win $100 gift cards to the Kennel Bookstore!

Registration is strongly encouraged but not required. Sign up here! Zines for the People
